PREVIEW: New Zealand (NZL) vs. Republic of South Africa (RSA) 7:50pm (New Zealand time)
New Zealand will clash with South Africa tonight in their fourth match of the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
The Kiwis need a win tonight to snatch the opportunity to qualify for the 13th/14th playoff on Monday.
It’s difficult to consider that the New Zealanders will settle for anything less, especially after their devastating loss to Kazakhstan on Thursday.
“We will step up again and again and we will never stop fighting.” said Sarah Landry.
South Africa have dropped from the bottom of Group B, coming off three losses to Australia, the Netherlands, and Greece; only managing to scrape together six goals over the tournament thus far.
The last time these two nations collided was at the last FINA World Championships in Barcelona, 2013.

Kirsten Hudson scored four goals against RSA at BCN2013
Two years ago, lefthander Kirsten Hudson scored two of her four total goals in less than a minute to lead the Kiwis to an eventual 13-7 win over the South Africans. Jasmine Myles matched Hudson with four of her own in the BCN2013 encounter.
New Zealand’s objective will be to come firing out of the blocks from the beginning and not give South Africa a hint. 'Redemption' will be a word tossed around the Kiwi camp, as they aim to prove that they are still amongst the top twelve, despite this goal slipping out of reach on Thursday.
