How do you manage to juggle work, study, training, social life etc./any wise words for aspiring water polo players?

Time management is key. I also make sure that I write everything in my calendar and plan out my weeks. Don't overcommit - some things will have to take a backseat.

When did you start playing water polo?

In Year 5 I started to play flippa ball for Vauxhall Primary.

What is your favourite water polo memory at home?

Winning 2013 Division One Nationals for Rangitoto College and recieving an Outstanding Player Award.

What has been your international water polo highlight?

Making my first New Zealand team (Under 15) in 2010 at the age of 14.

What time does your alarm go off in the morning, and what gets you out of bed?

My alarm goes off at 5:23am and I just get up and go. I enjoy playing way more when I am fit and fast.

What are you looking to accomplish in water polo? Why do you play?

My ultimate goal would be to represent New Zealand at the Olympics and with the new rules that goal has become more realistic.

What is the biggest barrier for you playing water polo?

Playing water polo in New Zealand is very expensive, as we recieve no government funding.

What has New Zealand Water Polo given you personally?

Water polo has given me life-long friendships, has allowed me to travel internationally and has taught me that if you train hard then anything is possible.
