How do you manage to juggle work, study, training, social life etc./any wise words for aspiring water polo players?

It's an uphill battle. Compromise is key - you really have to prioritise.

At 12 years old in Auckland playing for Epsom Girls' Grammar School. It is a family tradition to play polo.

What is your favourite water polo memory at home?

Winning school nationals in my last year of school (so long ago!!!). Plus all of my club years - particulary Under 20s and Seniors.

What has been your international water polo highlight?

Playing professionally overseas in Hungary. International line ups.

What time does your alarm go off in the morning and what gets you out of bed?

1st thought - "I'm too old for this".

Motivation - "Get up lazy, you need this training."

What are you looking to accomplish in water polo? Why do you play?

To be the best goalkeeper that I can be. To help New Zealand reach our team goals. To make sure that when I stop playing I still love the sport.

What is the biggest barrier for you playing water polo?

Financial definitely - having to work and train is incredibly hard.

What has New Zealand Water Polo given you personally?

It gave me the opportunity to play in Hungary for two years, which was an unbelievable experience.
