First Splash for Junior Women in new pool

AUT Millennium's Sir Owen G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre opened this morning with the First Splash taking place from 10:00am until midday. In front of a crowd of parents and aquatic enthusiasts, a lucky few got to be the first to jump into the 50m NAC pool.

The facility will host the 2016 Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival, the FINA World Women's Youth Water Polo Championships in December 2016, and the World Masters Games 2017! The New Zealand Junior Women were there for the First Splash ahead of their departure for Greece on Friday.
